Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 days per week. Weeknight call is 6p-7a. Call schedule will be put out and staff (including travelers) can choose their call days based on their schedule- picking 4 weeknight and 2 weekends. Allowed to switch call days with others if needed. 2 RNs and 2 IR techs on call team.

Weekend/Call Requirements: 1 weekend call per month- have a group of 9 that take call. Call starts on Fri at 6p till Mon at 7am.

Holiday/Call Requirement: If holiday lands on scheduled shift or scheduled call shift you work it. Do get holiday pay.

Call or Standby requirement?: 30 minutes response time.

Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: Hybrid OR - not a deal breaker if they do not have this experience.

How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 3 rooms- 2 biplane, 1 single plane Always keep 1 room open for strokes. Hybrid in OR- some run a CT/IR scanner.

Common types of imaging & Job Duties: All IR procedures- service neuro IR, vascular, and neuro surgeons. Will be scrubbing in and circulating. Will be on the call team.
