Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

PALS (Required)

NRP (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Unit/Facility Details:

• Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

• If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Requirement: Min of every 3rd weekend but as needed

• Holiday Requirement: As needed

• Call or standby requirement: Required/As needed

Floating Requirements:

• Could float to MB.

• May need assist ED staff with IV placement. May do outpatient collection of labs, straight cath on unit.
