Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 22 months of Oncology Unit experience.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Additional Details:

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).

Previous Employment Requirements: Perm candidates of any Other providence facility ( NON SWEDISH ) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Medical Surgical Oncology patients, Leukemia, Lymphoma, MM, Research - clinical trials; CART and Stem cell transplant, BMT, General, Hematology/Oncology

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics

Unit/Facility Details: Avg Daily Census 25, Number of Beds 30

Shift & Scheduling: Every Other Weekend

Floating Requirements: To MS units

Transportation: Clinician must have reliable transportation; travel pairs require separate vehicles.

Housing: IF applicable - Clinician should secure housing before accepting and be aware of local cost of living.
