Travel Nurse (RN) - Acute Care Float Pool

No Block Scheduling.

Will work Custer C (ICU, Med Surg/Tele Float Pool).

Every other weekend

Every Other Holiday

1 year recent telemetry experience

Willing to float to any MS or Tele unit requested by the facility that falls within their scope of practice

Required skills: Bipap, Cpap, Heated High Flow, Oxygen titration, Moderate Sedation, Telemetry, Medical-Surgical patient care.

Straight nights shifts, rotating shifts, or blocked scheduling (1 week orientation, 7 weeks of days, 6 weeks of nights)

Med-Surg float units; travelers are the first to be reassigned to another department

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) 1:3 in Pulmonary Acute for IMC RNs 1:4/5 days shifts 1:5/6 night shifts

Dress Code: Blue Scrubs

RN Traveler competencies are validated on arrival at our LEAD center with our Nurse Educators concerning telemetry and mechanical ventilation. The travel nurse will complete online modules, self-assessment, and core competency validations 0700-1930

Shift on unit with preceptor in a combination of patient care, unit tour, POCT testing, remainder of success center modules, and patient care 0700-1930

Specialty certification preferred.
