Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Experience with MEDHOST is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀/𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Med/Surg experience.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: Certification/Licensure required to work as an RN or LPN/LVN in TN.

𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁: geriatric, adults, typically only have 3-4 peds patients per year

𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁: Welch Allyn vital machines, masimno at bedside in every room, careview, telemetry, sara stedy, ARJO lift.

𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁: Medhost - Clinical Experience

𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁/𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀: Client reserves the right to require certifications not listed. Please refer to LPNT checklist for most up to date requirements. Additional Notes: Unit Secretary/Monitor Tech stationed at Medsurg nurses station. Number of Beds: 19

𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 & 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: Weekend Hours: Rotate every other weekend unless there is a need and will be scheduled more than every other weekend. / Call Requirements: Yes, Depending on census, staff is placed on call or floated.

𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Yes, to medical detox, ICU, OB or ER (Task assignments for OB and ER), will take low level medsurg overflow patients in ICU with ratio of 1:3
