Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years required for submission (within specialty submitting to) We will still sub 1.5 Yrs if Level I or travel exp. Must scrub cardiac surgery independently & circulate. Skills: Cardiovascular, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Atrial Septal defect repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Femoral Cannulation, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Scrub Cardiovascular Surgery, Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), CVOR, Thoracic.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Skills: Atherectomy, Cardiomyoplasty, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, MAZE Procedure, PDA, TAVR (Transaortic Valve Replacement), Lobe resection, Mediastinoscopy, Thoracotomy, VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery).

Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: $125/month

Special Requests: If traveler has any vacation plans during the period between sign date and start date, this must be communicated to the AM at the time of submission to ensure a realistic start date may be requested.

Shift & Scheduling: Will take 3x12s or 2x12s and 2x8s per week. 36 (7a-7p) or 40 hours a week, 2x12s & 2x8 hour shifts 7a-3:30p or 10:45a-7:15p. Weekend req: Two 24hr calls per schedule. Is on-call Req: 2 calls per M-F week (either 7p-11p or 7p-7a) with 1 day per week available to stay late.
