Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)/Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.
Can do 13 weeks, or up to 1/17 end date.
Manager preference is to end 1/3, 1/10 or 1/17 to assist with holiday coverage. Will prioritize these candidates.
No RTO within first 2 weeks of start
Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit
Schedule: No set schedule, no set weekends, no block schedule. The facility determines the complete schedule, which may include working every weekend.
Must have MS and oncology experience in checklist
Patient Diagnoses: • Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) • Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Adult) • Amyloidosis • Aplastic Anemia • Chronic Leukemia • Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) • Chronic Myeloid (Myelogenous) Leukemia • Hodgkin's Lymphoma • Multiple Myeloma • Myelodysplastic Syndrome • Myeloproliferative Disorders • Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Special Procedures/Unit Details: • Autologous Transplants: Patients receive their own stem cells. • Syngeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their identical twin. • Allogeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their sibling, parent, or an unrelated donor. • CAR-T Therapy
Skills Required: • MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry) • Telemetry monitoring • Interpretation of dysrhythmias • Use of Rapid Response Teams • Feeding tube care and management • Blood product administration • Central line blood draw • Peripheral line care/management • PICC line management • Nasal cannula administration
Float Required: Yes - to other MedSurg Oncology units

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more
Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location
