Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Emergency Department experience is required from last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

• Weekend Hours: No guarantee for weekends off. However we work really hard for a fair schedule

• Charge Experience

• Float requirements: travelers required to float to ed holding

• Additional Notes: Level 2 trauma center with 4 Critical care bays. Teleneurology for stroke in cooperation with Mass General Hospital

No PICU - transfer out

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Pediatrics to Geriatrics

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Non Trauma Emergency Department, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Ventilated patientsTriage
