Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

BSN completion preferred

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

No Block Scheduling.

Unit details: Number of Beds - 36, Number of Staff – 50 +

Equipment used on unit: Medical remote telemetry monitoring, Cerner Patient Observation (CPO), VC150’s in every patient room. Work station on wheels for every staff member. Tap and Go for computer/documentation access.

Required skills/experience: Medical Telemetry

Preferred skills/experience: Leadership experience, Charge Nurse experience

Floating requirements: Med-Surge: 3W, 5W, K8 (sister units)
