Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

BSN completion preferred

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

Additional Information

Additional Details:

Seasonal Flu Vaccine is required if working during flu season (September 15-April 30th).

Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are reviewed on a very limited basis).

No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem.

Days/Eves & Weekend Rotate

1-2 rotations to weekend per 4-week schedule; 1-2 rotations to Eves (1p-11:30pm) per 4-week schedule.

On Call Required.

Experience Required: 1-2 years

Skill Sets Required: Basic aseptic technique, circulating independently, multispecialty competence.

Patient Population: Pediatric, Adult & Geriatric.

Rotation is not required for Night shift.

Call Requirement: 1 Holiday Call. 2-3 Weekday calls per 4-week schedule. 1-2 Weekends per 4-week schedule. Weekend shift will include Call. (Example: Working Sat. from 7a-5:30p, Call will be from 5:30p – 11p).

Scrub Experience Preferred.
