Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 6 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.
6 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from the last 3 years
3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

No block scheduling.

Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, 2 out of 4 major holidays. Holidays: Work into rotation.

Required Skills/Experience: Strong IV skills required.

Required Credentials: Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance, traveler has 2 attempts. if failed, RN will be DNU within CS AZ and Sac Region for 6 months

Types of Patients on Unit: Cardiac surgery recovery, Empallas, IABP, CRRT, lung transplant, thoracic, Ecmo, esophogectomy, lobectomy, pneumectomy, TAVR.

Unit/Facility Details: CTICU/CVICU beds: 24. Very high acuity, travelers with IABP and CABG experience can take patients. High number of bedside procedures, bronchs, Swans, epidurals.

Special Requests: Travel Teams must have their own vehicles

Floating Requirements: Float to other ICUs and all Tele units. patient ratio of 4:1 on tele. Travelers will float 1st before perm staff. Also required to float to Westgate if asked.
