Guaranteed 36 hours per week
For Holiday RTO: Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years). Unit managers will make the final call on scheduling, but we would include this verbiage on the confirmation. Holiday time off will be considered, however not guaranteed.
Prior to acceptance, the dysrhythmia exam (basic) through UNA is required to be sent along with acceptance. This must be completed within 24-48 hrs. Please note it’s pass or fail and they get two attempts (test a should be assigned first and if not passed, test b should be assigned for the retake). A screenshot showing the number of attempts is also required. You’ll need to set your traveler up for this exam immediately.
Unit: Supports both Tele and ICU
Experience or 'Must have' skills: 1 year cardiac monitoring experience, ability to successfully complete dysrhythmia recognition test
Shift starts 645. Report is at the bedside. OT and extra shifts are available. Self-scheduling is used, but is not finalized until Manager balances it. Schedules are out 4 weeks. Travelers can access their schedules from home and make themselves "available" for extra shifts and make trades with other staff. Block scheduling is not available.
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
