IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Administration of blood & blood products, Drawing Venous Blood, Starting and maintaining IVs, Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring, Work Settings, Antepartum, Facility births/month <100, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Care in Delivery Room, APGAR scores, Collect cord samples, ID/Security Banding, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation, Antepartum Care and Procedures, NST (Non Stress Tests), Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Sterile vaginal exam, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Postpartum Care and Procedures, Episiotomy/Incisional Care, Foley catheter insertion/management, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Wound Assessment and Care, Surgical Case/Procedures, Postpartum Care of the Patient with, Cesarean Section, Multiple Births, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Vaginal Delivery, Labor and Delivery Management, Circulate for C-section, Recover C-Section, Pain Management, Epidural Anesthesia, Pain assessment & management, Medication & Administration, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Fetal Monitoring, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, and Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Care, Telemetry Interpretation.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Maintain central lines (CVC / PICC), Facility births/month >300, Facility births/month 200-300*, High Risk Antepartum*, Baby Nurse (“Baby Catcher”), Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), Triage of obstetrical patients*, Breastfeeding Support/lactation support*, Cervical Cerclage*, Tubal Ligation*, Spiral Electrode Placement*, and Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibratio

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: No RTO 2/15/26 through 2/28/26. Pre-Approved Time Off: 2 Requests. RTO required with submission, must be built into contract.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Coverage: Every Other

Floating Requirements: May be required to float. Antepartum -will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed.
