Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience within the past 12 months.

ASN completion required

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Post operative joints, post op bariatric, postoperative gi, trauma patients.

Types of Patients on Unit: Geriatric, adult, peds (13 and older)

Unit/Facility Details: 23 beds

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Hours: As Needed/Every third weekend
