Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Seasonal Flu Vaccine is required if working during flu season (September 15-April 30th).

Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are reviewed on a very limited basis).

No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem.

Shift & Scheduling: Every Other Weekend

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to read tele strips. Skill Sets Required: Cardiac Telemetry Cardiac Drips, Interpret Tele Strips, TR Bands, Hi-Flow Oxygen.

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Population: Cardiac, Respiratory, Metabolic, Psych, Substance Use Disorder, GU, GI.
