Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

NRP (Required)

Vaccinations

Unit and facility details: Ratios: 1 to 1 and 1 to 3; Peds 1 to1 or 1 to 4 (PICU 1 or 1 or 1 to2 NICU 1to1 through 1 to 3 , ped unit 1 to 4 could be less.

Shift & Scheduling:

Every other weekend and 2 holidays.
Call: Sometimes, low census (Standby).

Floating Requirements: NICU float to Nursery and Peds; Mother Baby (not typical) only if they have that experience, lenient with ped experience, level 3 NICU. First to float.
