Additional Details:

Respiratory Therapy – PICU and NICU

36 hours per week

2 years’ experience. Both PICU and NICU Experience required (NOT PEDS).

RRT or CRT accepted

Weekend expectation: 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule

Floating Expectations: General care outside of assigned ICU

Holiday expectations: 1 Major, 1 Minor

Ratios: Workload dependent on RVU bases 580 minutes assigned out of 720 minute shift. ICUs similar assignment, but RVU allocation could be higher.

Orientation: One week department orientation, then shadow and trained to general care, then third week will be in charge of own assignment.
