Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience within the past 12 months.

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Cardiac Transitional Care Unit experience.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Hawaii license

ACLS (Preferred)

PALS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Unit Details: 15 bed unit. 3 Step down ICU; 12 telemetry. 1:4 for Progressive Care; 1:3 for Step down ICU

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Primary Nursing care, Telemetry monitoring, Telemetry strip reading, Fingerstick blood sugar.

Equipment Used on Unit: BIPAP, Continuous cardiac monitoring

Preferred Skills/Experience: Progressive Care and telemetry experience

Floating Requirements: will float to all acute units in house. Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU and ER possible
