Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
Must have at least 22 months of Mother-Baby/Couplet Care experience.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum two year of postpartum experience.

  • IV Start Skills and Labor & Delivery (L&D) Experience

  • IV therapy, Administration of blood & blood products, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medication & Administration, Antihypertensives, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Post Partum Care and Procedures, Bladder assessment/Foley Catheter Insertion, Breast feeding instructions, Couplet Care, Episiotomy / incision care, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Use of electric/ manual breast feeding pump, Postpartum Care of the Patient with, Cesarean Section, Multiple Births, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Vaginal Delivery, Newborn Care General Skills, Cord Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Infant Identification, IV Antibiotics, Metabolic Screen, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Newborn Assessment, Phototherapy, Teach Circumcision care to parents, Thermoregulation, Care of the Newborn with, Large for gestational age, Low birth weight infants, Newborn hypoglycemia, Work Settings, Postpartum, Pain Management, Opioids, Pain assessment & management, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Care, Telemetry Interpretation, Professional Topic and Skills, Vaccine Administration.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Heparin, Insulin drips, Level 1 Nursery.

Required Credentials:

  • Telemetry interpretation is required. RN will be expected to pass an EKG exam prior to start.

  • Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Unit/Facility Details:

  • References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. No coworker references accepted.

  • Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID

Special Requests: No RTO 2/15/26 through 2/28/26.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Every Other Weekend

  • Pre-Approved Time Off: 2 Requests

Floating Requirements: May float to unit as similar acuity.

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
