Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is required, with some of it within the last 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Special Requests: Travelers are allowed one call out per contract, if there is a 2nd there will need proper documentation and will be considered on a case by case basis. No block schedule requests.

Shift & Scheduling: Every Other Weekend. Call Requirements: Yes.

Floating Requirements: Intermediate Care Unit (as primary RN) - ED holding (for admitted pts holding in ED)-- as needed basis.

Types of Patients on Unit: Adult, Geriatric.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair/replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, A. Fib RVR,ETOH Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR.
