Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Wound / Ostomy Care experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

SNF Wound Care

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement: Yes

Call Requirement: None

Floating Requirement: First to float. Only float to another wound care unit Tx nurses are assigned separate from medication nurses

Must hold SNF Wound Care experience including wound vac application.

Wound certification is a plus but not required.

Common diagnoses/Types of wounds Pressure ulcers, surgical wounds and stasis ulcers

Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year.

Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.

Need 2 supervisory references from modality submitting to (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 w/in 12 mo. & 1 w/in 3 years worked
