Experience

24 months of acute care experience.

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience with 1 months within the past 6 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Required Skill / Experience: 2 years of acute/inpatient OR experience

Strong experience in ortho, sports medicine, spine, robotics (Davinci)

Adult: ENT(Thyroid), General, Ortho spine, Ortho (must have total joint experience), Gyn, vascular (AV fistula, Fem Pops), urology, podiatry

No open heart, transplants, high-level neuro procedures (EVDs)

Circulate only, experienced in above cases

Required Credentials: Rhythm exam needed prior to arrival

If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.

Shift & Scheduling: Variable start times-0630, 0830 and 1030 with call and weekends

On-Call Requirement: 4-6 shifts/6 week. Nights: 2230-0700, Weekends: Hours TBD based on staffing (about 4-8h)

Call Response Time: 30 minutes

Floating Requirement: If there are low census in the OR the OR leadership team will assign you to float to: Inpatient areas (MS, ICU, PCU, ED Holding, PACU, etc.), ED

Will be assigned to be helping hands or tasker/runner, Vital signs, Sitter, Stocking, Simple tasks that basic CNAs and RNs can do
