Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Required Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, MS/Tele, Telemetry, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, PCA, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Charge Experience.
• Cardiac Telemetry*, Interpretation of dysrhythmias*, Management of dysrhythmias*, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring*, Telemetry - remote monitoring*, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams*, IV insulin protocols*.

Required Credentials: Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.

Special Requests:

• You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
• Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request.
• RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. ** No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend required.
• Open to 8 week contracts.
