Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience.
Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

  • General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Non Trauma Emergency Department, Stroke Certified Facility, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Neurological, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Medications, Continuous IV paralytics, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Orthopedics, Manage / apply splints, Ortho trauma, Pediatrics, Abdominal pain, Asthma, Burns, Epiglottitis, Head injury, Hyperglycemia, Identify/Report neglect or abuse, Infection, Mental/behavioral health conditions, Near drowning, Poison ingestion, Respiratory infection, Seizures, Sickle cell crisis, Skin Disorders, Spinal cord injury, Urinary Tract Infection, Psychiatric, Acute psychosis, Drug overdose, Managing violent behavior, Psychiatric Hold, Suicidal patient, Respiratory, Chest tube insertion/management, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Intubation, Care of Ventilated Patient, Shock/Trauma, Gunshot wounds, Traumatic amputation

Required Credentials: Drivers License/State ID

Shift & Scheduling: EOW/ EOH, On-Call REQ: Yes (Note: due to low census PRN), Must be willing to work flexible shifts, nights, mids if needed.
