Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

8 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

ACLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Required Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Isolation Precautions, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Post MI.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience, Ortho trauma
