Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Required Skills/Experience: Airway Management Devices/Suctioning, Endrotracheal tube/suctioning, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral/nasal Suctioning, Pulmonary Hygiene, Tracheostomy care/management, Medication Administration, Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Lidocaine, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Tobramycin, Xopenex, Nebulizer, Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar, Oxygen therapy, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Ventilator Management, BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Additional Skills, trauma.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Adult Critical Care*, Emergency Department*, Extubation*, Nasal airway placement*, Oral airway placement*, Sputum specimen collection*, Bronchoscopy*, Ketamine*, Mucomyst*, Nitric Oxide (INo), Theophylline, pulmonary function testing*.

Unit/Facility Details: Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Special Requests:

  • You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
  • No RTO is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment.
  • RTO must be included at the time of submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Every other weekend required
  • No call.
