Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

36 months of Hematology/Oncology Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

Additional Details:

Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting. 3 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it's within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

Will work in Oncology (not just basic patient care) or have a background in clinical research.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Baccalaureate Degree required

Current basic cardiac life support certification required

3-5 years research or clinical research experience and or oncology nursing experience is required

Shift: Flexibility to start at 7 am if visits start early, 8 hours per day, M-F

40 hours per week
