Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend REQ: Every other

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years required for submission (within specialty submitting to) We will still sub 1.5 Yrs if Level I or travel exp. Continuous IV sedation. Interpretation of dysrhythmias. Management of dysrhythmias.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Preferred 2 yrs exp. ICP monitoring. Triage. Ventilated patients. PA lInes.

Required Credentials: NIHSS must be APEX, AHA, AACME, Blue Cloud

Types of Patients on Unit: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics. Community ED, small pediatric population, Stroke and Chest pain centers. Travelers don't get trauma/rescue rooms and don't get triage or locked behavioral health units.

Unit/Facility Details: Level I Trauma Center. Total Staffed Beds: 1,567. Parking Cost: $125/month. Both sites have a locked psych unit staffed by PES RN & MHW.

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Staff Policy (must be gone 2 yrs to return as traveler)

Special Requests: RTO greater than 7 days requires approval. If traveler has any vacation plans during the period between sign date and start date, this must be communicated to the AM at the time of submission to ensure a realistic start date may be requested.

Floating Requirements: Assigned to one campus, with possibility of rotating to other campuses.
