Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Rehabilitation Unit experience is required from last 12 months.
Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Weekend Hours: for travel every other weekend.

Years of Experience: 2 in Med Surg or IRF

Additional Notes: Will not accept skilled nursing experience unless they have 2 years of IRF or Med Surg..

Must have: Acute inpatient rehab or acute rehab hospital.

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Hypertension; blood glucose monitoring, insulin protocols, feeding tube care, swallowing precautions, thickened liquids, foley catheter, Care of ports, PICC Lines, starting IVs, CVA, Parkinson’s, Post craniotomy, spinal injury, brain injury, join replacement, supplemental oxygen delivery, isolation precautions, ulcer, wound.
