Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Additional Details:

Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting. 3 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it's within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

Required Experience: 2 recent years of L&D RN exp and OR circulator experience. CNM exp will not be considered. Must be able to independently read & interpret telemetry strips. Must be able to pass telemetry test Day 1 w/ 85%+. Experience in high risk obstetrics preferred.

Required Certs: Evidence of completing Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course, preferably AWHONN.

Preferred: Dysrhythmia/Telemetry interpretation Course
