ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they'll be reporting to.
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to read strips.
Required Credentials:
-Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (with maximum 2 attempts), within 48 hours of offer.
-There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions.
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:
Types of Patients on Unit: General MedSurg patients that require tele.
Unit/Facility Details: 29 beds.
Special Requests:
-No block scheduling.
-Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Shift & Scheduling:
-4 weekend shifts per 4 week period (days - Sat, Sun, nights - Fri, Sat)
-One major and minor holiday (2 of 3 holidays).
Floating Requirements:
-First to float.
-Float to MedSurg Tele C5 and B2D
