Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

ADN completion required

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license

Additional Information

Additional Details:

Will float to NICU, PICU, and Peds Heme/Onc.

Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.

Required Skills & Experience: Two (2) years’ current experience required in a 15-plus bed NeoNat care unit required.

Required Education: One of the following is required: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).

BLS and PALS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.

Guaranteed Hours: 48

RN to homebase out of Rust Presbyterian Rust Medical Center - Rio Rancho, NM home base with FLOAT Requirement as census needs require to PHS main Pediatrics unit.
