Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience within the past 12 years.
BSN completion preferred
3 months of experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a California license

An interview may not be available prior to offer. Travelers may float at any time between units and mid-shift to meet the needs of the patients and Client Facilities.

Facilities are not accepting holiday RTO at this time - no holiday RTO requests will be allowed for submission. You can discuss with leadership once onsite for consideration.

Must be able to start within 4 weeks of receiving an offer.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀/𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Cardiac patients experience /

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀/𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Acute care facility experience

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification / Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Healthstream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS) or RQIACLS: Required

𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁: This unit provides care for post-critical (step-down) medical or surgical patients who require observation and care at a level less than intensive care patients, but more comprehensive than that required by general acute patients. This unit represents a mix of medical and surgical patients including monitored or ventilator-dependent patients.

𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀: If your unit is an intermediate-care unit but does not fit this specific description, please contact FP&A to discuss other options. NOTE: This department is only for direct patient care and does not include individuals only monitoring electronic devices from outside the patient room.

𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 & 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: 36 or 48 hours per week / no oncall
