Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Floating Requirements: May float to ICU or observation unit to care for similar acuity patients.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Nurse typically cares for patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions, including: Post-surgical patients (e.g., after orthopedic surgery, abdominal surgery, etc.), Patients with infections, Patients with chronic conditions (e.g., heart failure, diabetes), Patients with acute illnesses (e.g., pneumonia, sepsis) Services Provided: Pre- and post-operative care, Wound care, Pain management, Medication administration, Vital signs monitoring, Diagnostic testing coordination
