Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 18 months of Pediatric Emergency Department experience with 1 months within the past 6 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.

Required Skills/Experience: Mandatory Skills: General pediatric ED care, mental health. Minimum Experience: 1.5 years PEDS ED with at least 6 months of triage and trauma experience

Required Credentials: CPI or MOAB. NURSYS.

Unit/Facility Details: Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:3 standard acuity; 1:6 lower acuity. Beds: 35 (21 ER plus 3rd floor for fast tracks/surgical suite).
