Experience

Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 12 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience.

Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Arterial line management, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Starting and maintaining IVs, UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter), UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter), Anti-Seizure Medications, Antibiotics/Antivirals, IV vasopressors, Neonatal Dosage Calculations, Developmental Care, Patient/family teaching, Phlebotomy, Thermoregulation, Assist with lumbar puncture, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Seizure disorders, Therapeutic hypothermia (cooling blanket), Ventricular Peritoneal (VP) Shunts, Blood glucose monitoring, Insulin administration, Phototherapy, Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk, Colostomy/Ileostomy care, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Post Abdominal Surgery, Bubble CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Management of Chest Tubes, Respiratory distress syndrome, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Vapotherm, Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), Post cardiac surgery, Post interventional cardiac catheterization, Pre-Cardiac Surgery, Isolation Precautions, Sepsis Work Up, Level 1 Nursery, NICU II, NICU III, NICU IV, Pediatrics, PICU, Neonates < 24-28 weeks, Neonates > 34 weeks, Neonates 29-34 weeks.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience

Skills: APGAR scoring, Intracranial Pressure Monitoring, Dysrhythmia Interpretation/Management.

Required Credentials: Government issued photo ID.

Shift & Scheduling: Night (19:00 - 07:00); Day (07:00 - 19:00)

Day/night or permanent nights - 3(12) hr shifts of 2(12) & 2(8)

Every other weekend or every weekend

Floating Requirements: PICU/med surg
