Orientation: 12 Hours - One week- classroom and lab
Shift & Schedule: Monday - Friday
On-Call: 1 - 2 days per week & every 3rd week on call
Weeknight/Call Requirements 1-2 days per week (weeknight call hours are 3:30p-7a)
Weekend/Call Requirements every third weekend on call, (from Friday-to Monday morning, weekend call is 24hr)
Holiday/Call Requirements: Every other
Call Response Time: 20 minutes
Floating Requirements: Heart and Vascular Pre/Post- helping hands
Required Skills / Experience: If only have panning experience and not scrubbing that is okay, majority of role is panning. IABP, Impella, Shockwave (preferred), Laser, IFR/FFR, IVUS, Rotapro, 4 port manifold
Preferred Skill / Experience: Experience with IV starts
Special Requirement: Radiation Badge must be supplied and in hand prior to start
If clinician is RCIS credentialed they will not be responsible for panning/activating fluoroscopy - no need for for ND license
If clinician is ARRT credentialed they could be responsible for panning/activating fluoroscopy - will be required to hold an active ND Rad Tech License
Patient Types: Emergent Revascularization, LHC, RHC, ATK Peripheral Diagnostic/Interventional, Cardioversion, TEE, Devices, Pericardiocentesis, Temporary Pacemaker
On average 4 cases per day
Procedures Done on Unit: Scrubbing in and/or panning, IV starts
Equipment Used on Unit: Philips Xper (Hemo)
Siemens C-Arm, IABP, Impella, Shockwave, Laser, IFR/FFR, IVUS, Rotapro, 4 quart manifold
Special Requirement: Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
RTO needed upfront. Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
