Shift & Scheduling: Alternating Night/Mid (11a-11p) every other weekend.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience, Community Hospital Experience

• Vented patients (vent unit on site)
• Behavioral Health Crisis
• Usual ED-related visits

Unit Details: We are an 11-bed medical ED with a separate CPEP unit within the ED that is staffed by ED nursing and PCT staff. The CPEP is divided into two distinct spaces: an evaluation space that holds up to 6 patients and an Extended Obs space that holds up to two patients. The unit is staffed with a nurse, PCT, and CPEP BH team at all times if patients are present. Patients are triaged and medically cleared prior to entering the CPEP space. At most, they may require labs/EKG while in this space. . Security posts in ED.
