Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Endoscopy experience.

BSN completion preferred

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a District of Columbia license

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Pre/Post Procedure, Starting and maintaining IVs and Inpatient

• Able to function in Pre-op, Intra-Procedural, and PACU

• Will take 1st Time traveler if experienced in Endoscopy- pre, intra, and post.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Outpatient Endoscopy center

Required Credentials:

• Drivers License/State ID: Government issued photo ID.A valid driver's license will be required if driving on behalf of MedStar Health is an essential function of the job.

• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Unit/Facility Details: Department Ratio: Preop 1:2, Intra-procedural 1:1, PACU 1:2

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Requirement: Weekday On-call 1730-0700 once per week; Weekend On-call(every 6th or 7th weekend) Monday and Friday evening 1730-0700 Saturday and Sunday (24 hours) 0700-0700.

• Shift Times/Call/ Float/ Weekend Coverage: Pre-op 0630-1700, Intra-Procedural 0700-1730, PACU 0730-1800, 0800-1830

Floating Requirements: Will float per competency within GI Suite.
