Travel Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience Two-three (2-3) years prior (strong) Med ICU or ICU experience required.

Must have strong experience with central lines, ventilators and ICU Cardiac Telemetry.

Must be competent to administer blood transfusions.

CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours.

Required Hard Skills: Complex critical care CCRN level care High acuity Mechanical ventilation Complex vasopressors Sedation/paralytics - strong understanding of sedation / spontaneous breathing trials for mechanical ventilation Arterial line Swan ganz Phlebotomy, arterial blood gas specimen collection Central line management - strong peripheral IV accessability Chest tubes Bladder management / straight catheterization CRRT

Preferred Credentials: Preferred Education: BSN.

Unit/Facility Details: Failed fit tests due to facial hair and the inability to shave automatically disqualifies clinician from proceeding.

Special Requests: Cannot guarantee block schedules or special requests

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required.

Holidays Required as Needed based on unit need - eve/day - with consideration and within reason for work life balance for holiday needs

Floating Requirements: Float Requirement to like ICUs Required
