IMC CVPCU - Required

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating 7a / 7p

Required Skills / Experience: RN will need experience with high acuity patients

2 years Cardiac open heart recovery experience

Strong Surgical IMC experience

ICU experience required for management of High Acuity IMC patients

Looking for RNs with experience taking care of patients who are 1+ days out from CABG, Valve repairs and Valve replacements, very heavy Cardiovascular Post-op step down

Unit Details: CVPCU is a fast-paced surgical step-down unit made up of a multidisciplinary team who primarily cares for patients recovering from cardiac and vascular surgeries.

The CVPCU is a surgery unit providing care for patients who are post-op cardiac, vascular, and thoracic.

Continuous cardiac monitoring; the rest are telemetry level (Intermittent) and floor level (non-monitored)

Patient Types: Patients with Mechanical Circulatory Support devices like LVADs, as well as patients recovering from heart and lung transplants.

Patient Ratio: Mixed level of care assignments.
