Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Neonatal Phlebotomy, Experience in a level 3 NICU or greater. Advanced skills needed: Mechanical Ventilation including High Frequency Ventilators (Jet or Oscillator).

Preferred Skills/Experience: Minimum of 3 years, Neonatal Surgical Recovery.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Circumcision PDA Ligation Chest tube placement ROP Total Body Cooling.

Equipment Used on Unit: Primarily Jet based HFV, NAVA ventilators.

Technology Used on Unit: CPN primary Meditech secondary.

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds : 40.

Special Requests: No block scheduling requests.

Shift & Scheduling: Must be able to start within 4-5 weeks to apply. Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Float to Women's Hospital Units (Peds >1yrs, Newborn Nursery, Tech for Ante or Postpartum).
