Required skills and experience: 3 years experience with critical care experience. Level 1 trauma center with high acuity patients is required. Must have acute care/ trauma exp. Work Settings, Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, Transports, Medication Delivery Systems, Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Medication Administration, Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled steroids, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Care of Patient With, ARDS, Fresh tracheostomy, Pneumonia, Oxygen therapy, Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Trach collar, Ventilator Management, BiPAP, CPAP, Flow-by, IMV (intermittent Mandatory Ventilation), Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Chest Physiotherapy, Chest Physiotherapy: Vest, Drawing arterial blood gases, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nebulizer, Cold, Hand held, Heated, T-piece, Trach collar, Ultrasonic, Airway Management Devices/Suctioning, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal Suctioning, Pulmonary Hygiene, Tracheostomy care/management, Care of the Infant/Child With, Additional Skills, assist w external transports, call out missing skills

NICU, Inhaled Flolan, Isuprel, Ketamine, Lidocaine, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide (INo), Perforomist, Terbutaline Sulfate, Theophylline, Tobramycin, Xopenex, Neonatal/Pediatrics - Equipment/procedures, Apnea Monitor, Assist in high risk delivery, Bubble CPAP, Capillary blood gases, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP, High frequency jet ventilator, IMV/SIMV, Intubation Assist, Neonatal transports (inter-departmental), Oscillating Ventilator, Pressure/Volume Ventilator, Aspiration, Bronchoscopy, COVID, Cystic fibrosis, High frequency jet ventilator, High frequency oscillator, Nasal airway suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Respiratory distress syndrome, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), Transient Tachypnea of the newborn

Required credentials: Drivers License/State ID. Government issued photo ID.

Shift & schedule requirements: Every other weekend, major holiday, and cross campus coverage required. Cross campus coverage includes University, Memorial, and Marlborough.
