Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Case Management experience.
BSN completion required
Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a California license
Certifications
BLS (Required)

Required Skills/Experience: Peds experience. Recent experience in case management, utilization management, and discharge planning. A minimum of three years of acute hospital experience or the equivalent of education and experience. Skills: Acute Hospital, Long Term Acute Care/Rehab/Skilled Nursing, Case Management/Utilization Review, Admission Criteria, Care coordination, Discharge Planning, Regulatory, CMS: Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) coding and billing, Department of Health, DRG (Diagnosis Related Groups), HEDIS (The Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) Measures, HIPAA guidelines (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), ICD 10 Coding, NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance), OSHA: Occupational Safety and Health Administration, The Joint Commission/ Core Measure/National Safety Goals, Worker’s Compensation, Utilize InterQual Criteria, Utilize Milliman Guidelines.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience.

Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.

Preferred Credentials: Case management certification.

Shift & Scheduling: Some holidays and weekends may be needed.
