Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 16 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New Jersey license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: Skills: IV therapy, Arterial line management, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter), Gastrointestinal, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Infectious Disease, Isolation Precautions, Neurologic, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Medications/Emergency Medications, Neonatal Dosage Calculations, Patient Types, Neonates < 24-28 weeks, Neonates > 34 weeks, Neonates 29-34 weeks, Work Settings, NICU III, Respiratory, Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP).

Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID. Cert: BLS - AHA, ARC, RQI, or American Safety and Health Institute.

Special Requests: Block schedule (if needed).

Shift & Scheduling: Shift: 3x12 or 4x12 option. Every other weekend.
