Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 23 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license

Required Credentials:
- Traveler Will Be Responsible For Self-studying Telemetry Strips Upon Acceptance And A Basic Dysrhythmia Test Out Will Be Given First Week Of Assignment. This Must Be Passed In Order To Work On Our Telemetry/med Surg Unit.
- Driver's License/State ID
Unit/Facility Details: Telemetry Ratios are currently 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights. Med/Surg Ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.
Shift & Scheduling: 36-hours with the possibility of overtime. every other weekend rotation.
Floating Requirements: Floating is a requirement in ACU is always required for any non-critical care inpatient units including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients. If the traveler has critical care experience, we have occasionally floated them to CCU.
