Must have at least 9 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 12 months.

CST First Assist

Required Skills/Experience: Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2+ years of labor experience with a history working in an LDRP with high birth volumes

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, antepartum patients. Newborn and post-partum care

Equipment Used on Unit: GE fetal monitors

Unit/Facility Details:

• Beds – 24

• Patient Ratios – labor 1:1 (most of the time), post-partum 5-6:1, nursery 5-6:1

Special Requests: No block scheduling requests.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends and On call: Every third weekend with 12 hours of call per 4 week schedule
