Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience within the past 3 years.
24 months of Trauma Level 2 facility is required from the last 3 years
Experience with Epic is required from last 2 years.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Travel pairs cannot request the same schedule

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Experience Requirement: Floating experience does not count toward experience requirement. Correctional facility experience does not count toward experience requirement.

Required Skills/Experience: RN must read own tele, also have monitor tech as well.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Gun Shot Wound and Stabbing experience is a bonus.

Required Credentials: Cannot have an employment gap in the past 4+ months.

Types of Patients on Unit: Any and all emergency needs.

Equipment Used on Unit: Glidescope, Hamilton and Phillips vents.

Unit/Facility Details: Trauma Level: Foothills is an extension of the main campus Onvida ER Level 2 trauma, STEMI and Stroke receiving- will ship out if stroke intervention required.

of Beds/Trauma Bays: 20 beds, 2 trauma bays

Ratios: 1/5 medical, 1/2-3 for UCY,1/6 for fast track

Special Requests: Block scheduling can not be guaranteed.

Shift & Scheduling: Start Dates are not flexible.

Weekend Requirements: 4 weekends shifts per 4 week block.

How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: One NEO, one day clinical/EPIC, one day on the floor.

Floating Requirements: Floating Requirements: Shared schedule with Onvida Main campus- typically scheduled ahead of time, infrequent last minute floating.15-minute drive to Main campus ER.
