Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Acute Care Float Pool experience.
BSN completion preferred
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele, ER holding experience

Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Pre/Post Thoracic Surgery, Tracheostomy care/management, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Feeding tube care and management, Heparin, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Post MI, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, and Renal failure.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Ortho trauma, Post Angiogram, and Post cardiac surgery

Required Credentials: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Shift & Scheduling: Open to 3x12 or 4x12, Every 3rd weekend required

Floating Requirements: Float required to MS, IMC, and ED Boarder as needed. Travelers will be expected to float to ED to care for borders and /or float to inpatient units to care for patients.
