Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
PALS (Required)
Vaccinations
COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Med/Surg PICU

Required Skills/Experience: Must have recent experience with trachs and vents.

Required Credentials: Associate Degree or Certificate

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:

Types of Patients on Unit: Variety of ages from neonate through young adult. Patient populations include neurosurgical, general surgical, trauma, and medical/respiratory patients.

Equipment Used on Unit: Oscillators, ICP monitoring, EVDs, and CRRT. May be potential to have code phone (training provided).

Unit/Facility Details: 44 Surgical/trauma/medical pediatric critical care unit

Shift & Scheduling:

-No call

-Every other weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun) rotation

-Holidays: if needed

Floating Requirements: Float first to all inpatient units including critical care, NICU and Acute Care
